Recommended screen layout with eValid when testing web apps

Postby DSargent » Wed Dec 19, 2018 10:44 am

Hi there.

Do you recommend to lay out my screen when I'm testing a web app with eValid?

Give me the lowdown on this please.

Thanks

Great question DSargent.

There's only so much "land area" on the screen, and eValid has several different screens that help you, primarily with making a test recording.

Here is our recommended setup:

Note that this is for a standard HD screen.

Of course if you have double-screens or even more, then you have many more options.

But we think the browser main window, the script file, and the PageMap display are the main things to keep an eye on during test creation.
