We get this question a lot.

No, eValid is not a plugin for IE nor is it a wrapper on the IE HTTP/S protocol service.

eValid is a free-standing Windows application that incorporates the web browsing capabilies from the same DLLs that the IE browser uses. The main browsing component is the Trident Rendering Engine -- the same engine that is used in all IE versions.

This architecture assures a range of technical advantages: accuracy, precision in timing, independence of operation, non-interference with JavaScript executions (used in AJAX applications), and scalability (up to 1,000 times on a multi-user PC).
