How come eValid doesn't have any commands to scroll the page up and down the browser page?
You would think this would be a necessary feature in a software test tool?
Thanks
Thanks for asking PercyRod.
Actually, during recording you manually scroll up and down and that that is NOT recorded because it doesn't need to be.
The reason is that if you take an action eValid records the DOM index number for that action.
At playback time, eValid will act on that DOM index, independent of where the screen it.
But if you really MUST move the rendered window, you can use the eValid command ScrollKey
ScrollKey "SCROLL-KEY" repeat-count "frame_path" frame-x-pos frame-y-pos frame-width frame-height where "SCROLL-KEY" is taken from this list:
DOWN_ARROW
UP_ARROW
RIGHT_ARROW
LEFT_ARROW
PAGE_DOWN
PAGE_UP
HOME
END
Hope that answers the question.
