Better understanding on adaptive playback in eValid

Postby CarlSaxe » Mon May 15, 2017 12:33 pm

Afternoon.

Can you give me some details about how eValid's adaptive playback feature works?

It looks like magic...but it isn't, is it?

Thanks

Thanks for asking CarlSaxe.

Here is a page that outlines how Adaptive Playback (AP) works:

http://e-valid.com/Products/Documentati ... yback.html

What is noteworthy here is that the AP feature works automatically (but you can turn it off) on all page navigations, but also on other commands.

What we did internally is that we turned on the AP feature in all those types of commands in which there might be some ambiguity at playback time, and which ambiguity we could fix "automatically".

But remember, the AP feature always reports that it was used in the eValid EventLog, so you should never have a sense that eValid has done something magic without telling you.
