Using eValid playbacks as a team training tool

Using eValid playbacks as a team training tool

Postby CDaniels » Thu Jan 19, 2017 1:28 pm

Afternoon.

Can I slow down the eValid playback in a systematic way?

I want to use playback of scripts as a training tool and things have to run slowly so I can talk about what is going on as the playback proceeds.

Some insight please...

Thanks for asking CDaniels.

There are several ways to slow down playback:

(1) You can adjust any recorded Wait times by a fixed constant, called the delay time multiplier.

This is set in the settings menu.

(2) You can set a wait time floor so that any Wait command waits at least a specified number (of milliseconds).

This is set in the settings menu.

(3) You can insert a command delay by specifying the number of milliseconds to wait before executing the next command.

This applies to EVERY command, not just to Wait commands.

(4) To make entering data into a form more visible you can adjust the form fill delay in the same way.

(5) You can also use "single step" mode that toggles you into the next command with you click the "take me to the next command" icon on the browser or on the Dashboard.

If this doesn't do it...let us know...
