Please appreciate that eValid is a product intended to test web browser enabled applications -- web apps -- and as such it has some capabilities that are not necessarily available in a
regular browser.

That being said, because eValid is architected to be based on the web browsing capabilities of the underlying Internet Explorer (IE) browser, it inherits the security and privacy capabilities of
both IE and the Windows operating system.

In terms of file manipulation, eValid has the same capabilities as any Windows application.

The usual windows file protections are present, but if you run eValid from the command line in "administrator mode" then you have all of the power of that status.
