We've heard in the grapevine that Windows 10 will have a non-IE browser.
Will eValid still work with the new Windows?
Thanks
Thanks for asking. we'll attempt to answer your question.
It is too early to confirm but we believe that, yes, eValid will work with the new non-IE browser rumored to be part of the Windows 10 release.
That "rumored" product is not evidently even in beta release, so this is speculation (and some private conversations).
The new non-IE browser will use the same underlying rendering engine as is used in IE, the Trident Rendering Engine:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trident_%2 ... _engine%29This is the rendering engine that Microsoft has been developing and evolving for over a decade.
This is the SAME rendering engine that eValid employs for its web browser capability.
So, our reasoning goes, if the new browser uses the same underlying rendering engine then eValid ought to work OK.
But to be sure we all have to wait and see.
