Sorry for the late posting.
I heard that Microsoft's going to put WebDriver in the IE11+ browser?
I was wondering how does that affect your eValid solution?
Thanks
Morning DiegoL. No such thing as a late post.
We think that the announcement by Microsoft is great news for automated testing everywhere. Here is the actual link that announced the new Microsoft Developer Channel:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ie/archive/2014 ... annel.aspxPartway down that page you will this critical paragraph:
"IE Developer Channel also comes with support for the emerging WebDriver standard through which Web developers can write tests to automate Web browsers to test their sites. It.s a programmable remote control for developing complex user scenarios and running them in an automated fashion in your Web site and browser. See how you can setup WebDriver in the IE Developer Channel, and try out this sample WebDriver project."
Users of eValid familiar with how eValid is structured will appreciate that the eValid commands are what IE with WebDriver implements, but in a different "language."
It's worth reminding everyone that eValid has been this way for over a decade...so we are more than happy to welcome Microsoft to the fold.
