I'm setting up monitoring and I'm wondering, is there some way to record the Alarm commands into the script without having to edit them in?
Hope you can give me an easier way to do this.
Thanks
Thanks for posting GregoryM.
Here is a worked example showing how to use the built-in eValid Timer and the OvertimeAlarm commands:
http://www.e-valid.com/Products/Documen ... armex.html It is a good idea to have a plan in place before you begin inserting Alarm commands. But assuming you know where you want the On*Alarm to go the sequence from the Script Window is simple:
Insert > Extrinsic commands > On*script > commands
Or you can put the commands you want inserted into a text file, copy them to the clipboard and then...
In the script window the sequence is as follows:
Insert > Clipboard commands > Paste
Remember, if eValid detects a syntax error in the script you are advised of that BEFORE the script is played back.
Hope that gives you some help with recording alarms into the script.
