Why don't you allow a synchronization rate higher than 100 Hz?

The retry rate is settable at any rate up to 100 Hz, which corresponds to an interval of 0.01 seconds, or 10 milliseconds.

We did some experiments some time ago and we found that if you increase the maximum retry rate above 100 Hz you potentially have an excessive overhead problem when you are running 100+ eValid instances (browser users) or BUs in a LoadTest mode run.

And besides, 0.01 seconds was judged to be close enough for web applications where whole-page activities are typically in the 1-10 second range. For that kind of speed, the 100 Hz rate is far less than 1:1000 relative to the larger client-side view.
