Need help with an element not found in a scripted CRM app

Postby KathyWV » Thu Jul 23, 2020 9:15 am

Good Morning.

I have been automating one CRM application, where I have found correct Xpath, and when I am using this Xpath in the script and it shows an element not found exception.

What can I do to overcome this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for posting your question KathyWV.

If your sequence of IndexFindElement[Ex] commands don't find what you've programmed them to find, then probably you script will FAIL.

The conclusion we have in this situation is: your page has changed?

You have to make your sequence of searches in the DOM such that they find the "right element" independent of dynamic changes in the page.
