Ramping up LoadTesting

Postby wichuser » Wed Oct 08, 2008 12:15 pm

How can we tell how many are on the system at one time? I mean how can I
tell if the "ramp up" is doing? So how can I tell when all 1000 are on the system
are running? How can I tell how many users are running an hour in?

If you want to do a ramp up in regular eValid playbacks, you put
Wait commands (or possibly Delay commands, which are immune to the
Wait Time Multiplier value) in between the _eValid commands in
your *evl script.

For eVlite playback rampup the solution is the same; you put
Waits (or Delays) between successive launches of eVlite.

The thing is, you control all of this with the configuration
of the *evl file.
