About eValid for load testing, vs. LoadRunner etc...
* $6K for the master station, $1K for each playback station.
vs. LoadRunner $100Kish
* 200 eValid THIN's per machine (3GB).
* eVlite does 1000 "HTTP only" users, subtract 10 THIN's, for
1000 + 190 per machine.
* eValid functional tests are the same scripts as for LoadTest
vs. Must convert QTP scripts to VUs.
* HP/Mercury is a tough competitor, and Siemens doesn't seem
to like small firms. Be careful that you'll spend a lot of
time making a quote, only to provide price comparison data
to justify the HP/Mercury buy.

eValid server loading is done by running multiple eValid browsers
with each on simulating a single actual user, as described here:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Promotion/LoadTest/general.htmlOur PerformanceTest Projects provide server loading activity
at three fixed-price levels of effort, as described here:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Services/Perform ... mmary.htmleValid includes a special load testing support utility called
eVlite, which reads eValid scripts and generates non-coherent
HTTP/s activity much like systems that have "virtual users."
