Can you tell me if you know the maximum number of eValid instances you can run on the largest possible Amazon Compute Cloud (EC2) image?

Very good question and it is one that we're working on right now!

As you may know, Amazon has recently revised a lot of the interfaces to the EC2 complex, so our tentative answer may change if you ask again in a couple of weeks.

Right now, we are pretty much certain of 200:1 amplification using a very large Amazon image. But we believe -- but don't yet have proof -- that we can find the OS switch settings (heap size, stack size, virtual memory size, etc.) that will let us do 500:1.

Stay tuned on this one...we'll make users aware of any breakthroughs on this front.
