This has been discussed many times, in our development meetings. We are very aware of the kinds of reporting that other suppliers -- the "big three" for example -- provide in their load testing solutions.
And then, we looked at the excellent analysis and reporting capabilities in the IIS and LAMP-stack system and we decided that our customers would be best served if we recommend use of
THOSE capabilities rather than trying to incorporating a subset of them inside the eValid LoadTest solution.
The other side of the coin for this solution architecture decision is that we then could concentrate on making sure eValid could handle the widest possible range of web applications. Better to do what we do well, and let others' solutions do what
THEY do best, was the thinking.
So we have emphasized eValid as a server
loading soution and we regularly recommend that it be used in conjunction with the existing IIS or LAMP-stack performance measurement tools.
