Batch Support

Postby winreg » Mon Sep 15, 2008 9:55 am

FIrst let me describe our situation. We have eValid installed on one
computer on our network and each of the QA testers used Remote Desktop
to log into that machine (one at a time). We each use an individual
Profile to point to our own individual working directory to develop
scripts. When we have a script ready to be added to our testing suite,
we move it to the Default working directory which uses the Default Profile.

Currently, when we want to run the these finalized scripts, we must
remember to open eValid and change the profile to the Default profile
to be able to run these scripts in batch mode.

My question is this: Is there a way from a Batch File to change the profile
(or the working directory) before running eValid scripts or do we still
need to open eValid and change the profile manually?

PLease let me now if I was not clear or if you have questions.

Thanks
winreg

Just wondering, did you see the -UPR switch in the Command Line
documentation?

eValid has ~60 switches that control executions from the Windows command
line, described here:

Let me know if -UPR (User Profile Record/Play) switch does the
job for you.
