Check into your product documentation for:
Application Mode -- in which eValid can handle a launched application by interacting with it and recording the interactions.
DeskTop Mode -- which is pretty much the same thing, but also handles working with ANY desktop application you have.
These two modes are mature and stable, but they don't provide the in-depth access to a web page's inner structure like the PageMap and all of the eValid DOM oriented commands do. But they work and they're reliable!
