We are currently looking for an automated testing software for our a
Winform application. Is there a way to launch that application
from evalid than perform the recording?

Am not 100% on what you're doing, but there is a command in
eValid called SystemCall [or SystemCallWait] that calls an
external function [and waits for completion] so you can edit
in a step in your script that launches [or launches, runs and
waits for completion of] any desktop application.

Is that what you need?
