Detailed Timing Usage

How to apply eValid to functional testing of web applications.

Detailed Timing Usage

Postby winreg » Fri Oct 03, 2008 11:48 am

Hoping you can help me with some quick scripts we are trying to create.

Is there a way to time and test page loads?

I want the script to wait till the page completely loads before going to the
next step. And I want it all timed.

Let me know if you need more info...

Thanks for writing.

Make sure detailed timings is ON. Then you'll see the times for each
page component.

There's strong built-in sync, but if you want to be sure you might
want to use a SyncOnText (eValid: Validate > & Synchronize > Text String)
after which command you put an ElapsedTime command.

* Here is how to use the eValid internal timer facility to measure
how long one or a set of commands takes, as described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... tml#timing

* These commands are available from the eValid GUI as described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... html#timer

Hope this helps...
