Testing Windows Apps

How to apply eValid to functional testing of web applications.

Testing Windows Apps

Postby User9999 » Fri Aug 29, 2008 5:13 pm

I installed eValid and it appears to be a great tool for testing web pages,
but right now we need a product for testing Windows GUI applications.
I had some trouble getting started with that, although I see that there is
supposed to be an application mode. Do you have a URL for a tutorial or
a faq for testing a windows application with eValid?

Thanks for posting.

eValid does both...seamlessly...

* In addition to its ability to record/play/analyze web-faced applications,
eValid includes a capability to record non-browser applications, and
also desktop objects. Please see:

*You can use eValid to record desktop windows with the Record Desktop Window
option, as described here:

http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.html

*It's important to be aware of the nature of the Windows desktop:

One script can contain both types of testing...
