Visually inspect a page during a playback

How to apply eValid to functional testing of web applications.

Visually inspect a page during a playback

Postby IrinaG » Thu May 07, 2020 10:24 am

Hello.

What if I wanted to visually inspect a page and give a PASS/FAIL from within a playback?

Why is this prohibited?

If there a possible workaround for me to try?

Thanks

Thanks for posting IrinaG.

You mean you want an "evaluate with user" command but this is opposite eValid's context of taking the user out of the loop.

But, try this sequence:

Run the script and leave the questionable page up on the screen with a long wait.

Now PAUSE the playback with the eValid GUI

Do the valuation and record it as appropriate.

Hope this helps.
