That's a hard question to answer right now, because the parts of VS2010 that involve testing web pages are still in "RC" (Release Candidate) mode. Even so, from what we have seen a direct comparison would be quite difficult, because the technology underlying both test recording and test playback is so completely different.
So, stay tuned for more complete answers on this, as we gain more and more experience with VS2010 and its capabilities
