Thanks for writing.
Given that you have "old custom C code" in your application,
but it does run on Windows, e.g. XP, right?
The eValid engine's Application Mode does very basic
record/play/validation/timing on Windows applications...we have
it in the eValid web testing engine because you very often
do NEED that capability, even for an app that is 99% web
oriented.
* In addition to its ability to record/play/analyze web-faced applications,
eValid includes a capability to record non-browser applications, and
also desktop objects. Please see:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.html* You can use eValid to record desktop windows with the Record Desktop Window
option, as described here:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.htmlIt's important to be aware of the nature of the Windows desktop:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... ccess.htmlSo, please try eValid out in Application Mode and let me know
if it successfully records and plays.
By the way, this eValid capability is taken directly from the
corresponding capability on CAPBAK/MSW...
