There are many sources for the patters of vulnerabilities in the industry.

OWASP (http://www.owasp.org) is one of the best sources for these patterns.

General web searches will also help you identify possible patterns that can be used by eValid to analyze particular types of vulnerabilities in your application.

Remember, security testing serves to reveal the identify of vulnerabilities, but cannot guarantee the absence of vulnerabilities.
