Thanks for writing.
Sorry, don't know MetaStorm...but even without knowing that product
in particular, there are three possibilities:
* It is a windows application, so you can use Desktop Mode in eValid.
* It is a application that runs in an Applet/Flash/Flex/AxtiveX type
object, so you can use Application Mode for that in eValid.
* It is an AJAX-type implementation, in which you can use eValid
directly.
The best thing to do is to use the eValid PageMap to find out
about the object (if it is in the browser window). If it
is running on the desktop (outside the browser) the PageMap
won't see it but the Desktop Mode recording will apply in that case.
* You can use eValid to record desktop windows with the Record Desktop Window
option, as described here:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... .mode.htmlIt's important to be aware of the nature of the Windows desktop:
http://www.e-Valid.com/Products/Documen ... ccess.html* In addition to its ability to record/play/analyze web-faced applications,
eValid includes a capability to record non-browser applications, and
also desktop objects. Please see:
